Newmarket England is famous for
racehorses and inspiration to artists worldwide. Here I found
an interesting challenge at the Palace House. This elegant
old building has wood panelled walls of majestic oak darkened
over the years offering an excellent backdrop for any artist
work. The problem or challenge is due to the shear scale of
each room, accessing those hanging points requires dexterity
and pirouetting with a very tall and at times unstable step-ladder.

however when it’s on your own doorstep like the open
studio project the buzz, excitement and dynamics are intensified.
