Inspiration. Well, it comes from all over the place, I see a cosmetics poster, see a girl in the street, see an image in the most obscure palace and you have the spark of an idea. A chunk of the work comes from publishers, who give me a brief and I try and capture the image they are looking for. I do get suggestions from clients who have bought from me in the past and take any ideas seriously. When it comes to erotic art, I feel a lot of people have it wrong, it is not what you can see that makes something erotic it is what you can’t see, or hope you can see. Just a glimpse of panties is erotic, yet a picture revealing all is not, or might not be. And one should never take for granted the allure of the forbidden or the naughty. It is how the picture feels that makes it erotic. I am constantly on the look out for new images and new models.
